My stay at Sliema Hotel was quite pleasant overall. The hotel boasts a great location with lovely views from the room, and despite a minor issue with the room location, it was clean and provided a peaceful environment. The service was friendly and efficient, and the location, although a bit noisy at times, was convenient for our needs.
I was thrilled with the spacious and clean room that offered a great view of the sea, although some dust was visible around. The ceiling fan kept the room cool without needing the air conditioning. The hotel's location was superb, just a short walk from the water and the Promenade, surrounded by restaurants and amenities, ideal for a peaceful night's sleep. The service was a mix of lovely and accommodating, but marred by a rude and oppressive episode with one staff member. While the dining experience was passable, the pool was great for a refreshing start to the day.
The hotel has a good location, close to restaurants and supermarkets, but noise can be an issue. The rooms are in need of refurbishment and lack soundproofing. The service was reasonably okay and had a friendly atmosphere. The location is nice and clean but can be noisy due to the waterfront. The dining options were simple, with limited choices. The hotel is very spacious with rooms that are clean and tidy, giving a fresh scent throughout. The towels were changed daily, a rare treat in my experience. However, there was a mix-up with my room booking despite it being confirmed.
